Piquette, made from grape pomace, wine/lees, water, and sometimes sweetener is like the light beer of the wine world. An effortlessly drinkable low abv wine adjacent beverage. After longing to make a piquette since 2016/17, there is finally one available for sale. Better late than never I guess. We can just say that I spent the last 5 years testing and perfecting the recipe.
Equal parts of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Sav Blanc skins meet Stagiaire’s patented piquette formula. Very delicious. Somewhere between Bugey Cerdon and Lambrusco with Gamay d’Auvergne vibes. Electric fuchsia hue to the dark core. It is basically adult soda. You’ll want to drink a few bottles.
