Drought dominated the growing conditions this season. We battled stressed fermentations and reduction in all of the Pinots. This definitely opened a bit stinky on release, but has fallen into a really pleasant balance. The reduction sinking back to a bitter, earthy, tar almost like nebbiolo. Bright whole cluster fruit shines.
